➴ Please be kind to each other. This site should be a safe space for everyone to relax and write with each other. If you have an issue with someone, then please message a mod or admin. Absolutely no fighting in the chatbox or on the forum.

➴ This site has a character-driven plot. This means there is no big over-arching plot. Your characters drive the plot. This doesn't mean there won't be site wide activities or events. In fact, there are quite a few town events throughout the year.

➴ Saturnine is a PG-13 site. Please keep all roleplay and content to that standard. If you wish to roleplay more explicit things, please take it off site (we are not responsible for any roleplay that takes place off site). We enforce the "fade to black" policy with sexual roleplays.

➴ While we encourage all levels of roleplayers, we are a literate roleplay site. This means each post should have at least 5-6 sentences. We understand writers block, so once in a while we will allow this rule to slide. Please just make sure that your partner(s) have something to reply to! Quality over quantity. If you will be roleplaying on a mobile device, please make sure you proof-read your posts to make sure there is no typos.

➴ This is a one account roleplay site. This means you may only use one account for all your characters. There is no need to make a new account for each character. Just register with the name that you wish to go by.

➴ Please be active. If you will be leaving for a while, please post in the absences thread.
       ↳ There will be an activity check every two months. If you do not respond to the check, then your characters will be moved to archives. If you decide to come back, message a staff member and they will move your characters back to active.

➴ Please do not start roleplaying until your character has been accepted.

➴ Since this is a gifted roleplay, there will be absolutely no power playing. It is incredibly easy to power play, especially as characters with powers. Killing another character without discussing it with the other person is forbidden. If your character can control other people (emotions, or other aspects) or if they can read minds, please still discuss this with whoever you are roleplaying with.


➴ If your character has a power, they are only allowed to have one. However, more than one person may have the same power. Please view the power claims thread for more info.
      ↳ Your character does not have to have a power! They can be a normal           human.


➴ When starting a new roleplay, please include if your thread is open to others or closed between certain people. When your thread is finished, please edit the title to include 'finished' as well as posting it in the finished thread so a staff member can move it.

➴ We are original artwork friendly. This means we encourage and accept original face claims. We still accept anime face claims as well.

➴ The current character limit is four. This number is subject to change in the future.

➴ We follow a four season calendar, with each season lasting two months. Check out our calendar for more info.
