Narin Velvet
|
Wyvern form drawn by my good friend Cindeer!
Info
Narin is a 5'3" woman, weighing about 121 lbs. She has thick legs, but the rest of her body is thinner. Her hair is a soft lavender color, with pink horns sticking out of her head. Her amber colored eyes give off a fierce vibe, but it's mostly for show due to her soft personality. She does not have humanoid ears and she has fangs instead of normal human teeth.
Narin is a sweet and innocent woman with a curiosity for the outside world beyond the forest. Despite being good at heart, she can be a bit tactless, but it's not due to ill will. Being sheltered all her life from non-Seekers, even the travelers, made Narin even more curious about everything around her. However, she has a silent fear of non-Seekers due to her parents fear mongering her that they liked to capture shapeshifters like them for prizes, entertainment, or for sport.
History
Narin grew up with her mother and father in their comfortable home that resides near the entrance to the mountains. There, they taught her to farm and grow various plants to sell. Because Narin's parents were overprotective and paranoid, she rarely went beyond the forest and mountains. This caused her to be sheltered from the outside world, only really knowing the life of a gardener.
Although her parents were merely looking out for her, they have ended up scaring her into staying within a comfortable little bubble, which is the town of Eriden. She fears that if she wanders too far from the town, non-Seekers will capture her due to her "unusual" physique. Dragon tail soup was- allegedly, by her parents- something non-Seekers were obsessed with, selling it in the black market for high profits. For this reason, her parents warn, she must never turn into a wyvern where even Seekers could see it. Even with all of the danger her parents warned her about, Narin can't help but yearn for a life beyond the garden.
Power
As a born wyvern shapeshifter, Narin has a few dragon features mutated into her human form. They do nothing for her as a human. When she transforms into a wyvern however, she has the ability to fly. She is a bit small for a wyvern, but a normal human could ride her and she'd have no trouble flying. Her fangs and claws are her deadliest weapons in this form. Staying in wyvern form longer than a day will wear her out, and she'd have to slumber for a few days to restore her energy.
