PERSONALITY

Viola is tricky to be around. For most, she is seen as overbearing and stubborn. She likes things to be done her way and if anyone tries to tell her different she will become your worst nightmare. She will not listen to other people's suggestions or viewpoints, even if she finds out she is wrong. She is a born leader and knows what is best for herself and her patients. Viola is passionate about her job and doesn't accept sickness or injury as a defeat. She thinks she can cure anything someone has. Because of this, she can be a little insensitive to patient's feelings. When it comes to patient care, Viola believes that half of the responsibility of getting better falls on the patient. She has been known to be persistent in making sure a patient is taking their medicine, changing their bandages, etc. She does not accept defeat.

Viola is outgoing and loves to be the center of attention. Her power has made her into a big risk-taker and is known to go into dangerous situations. Some might see her as fearless, but that's not entirely true. Her ability to heal quickly applies to direct injury to her, like being cut or stabbed. Even most illnesses she seems to be immune to. Her cryptonite: drowning. Viola is terrified of the ocean or other large bodies of water. She never learned how to swim and avoids it like the plague.  

Her other weakness is family. She loves them more than anything and longs to have her own one day. Viola is rather protective of what she loves and will do anything she can for them.

HISTORY

When Viola was little, she had a simple childhood. She had the perfect family. Her father was a doctor and her mother stayed at home with the children. She grew up with her younger sister for the most part. Viola was interested in her father's profession from a very young age. She would always help him out and read his big medical books, even though she couldn't understand most of them. She was also reckless. It was when she fell out of a tree that she noticed the skin around the cut of her arm was quickly healing itself back up. Her broken arm took only a day to heal. 

The trouble began when her one year old brother died in an accident. Viola never knew why, but after he died, her mother left them. To this day she resents  her. After that, Viola was the one that took care of her family. 

It was that way until she graduated high school. She went off to college and then into medical school. She excelled faster than the other students and was ahead of her class. 

By the time she finished, her father had to be put into a nursing home in the city. She moved to Eriden to be closer to him, but also to be around others that had powers.
